Area & Experiences
The source of the River Ombrone lies amid the legendary hillsides of Chianti, in the heart of rural Tuscany. It flows down through wheat fields and sun-dappled vineyards, through the Val d’Orcia and into the Tyrrhenian Sea. The best way to enjoy the river is by bike, stopping off every now and then for a picnic in the shade of an olive grove, or a nap in the tall grass. Keep following the river and you’ll end up at Villa Rossani, standing proudly amid its sumptuous gardens.
