Area & Experiences
Four miles of the coast of Ibiza, Formentera is the most unspoilt of the Balearic Islands, a haven of natural beauty emerging from the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean. Towering above the island’s deserted plains, dotted with fig trees and poppies, is the emblematic lighthouse of Cap de Barbaria. Standing on the southern tip of the island, it looks out over the endless ocean and the African coast way off in the distance. A stone’s throw away, Villa Rosemarie is surrounded by historic ruins.
