Although located at the heart of Val d’Isere, one of the most famous ski resorts in the French Alps, this stunning chalet invites you to partake in a truly magical getaway. Once you step through the majestic archway at its entrance, the villa transports you directly to the Himalayas to discover the most sumptuous wonders of Tibetan civilization. Early explorers report that Tibetans mined gold dust by stirring the soil with gazelle horns. Gold is found here within the mosaics of a supernatural swimming pool and the large murals of Tara the Benevolent, all under an ornate, temple-like ceiling from which a movie screen extends. With psychedelic colours that change constantly, this palace is dedicated to stylish artistic baths, featuring a jacuzzi and steam room. A lounge bar is equipped with large chairs covered in a white coat and crystal stalactites that lift the spirit to those snowy peaks. On the second floor, accessible by stairs or elevator, the main lounge bar features a splendid black velvet bench that extends around a library table. The room opens onto a terrace with a table for 8 people and heated chairs, a mini bar and outdoor kitchen, and a magical view of the village and mountain. Behind the stone hearth is a dining table for 14 guests along with chairs in majestic undulating curves. A second movie screen, discretely tucked away in the beams, separates the living and dining room as needed. In the basement, enjoy two massage rooms, a beauty treatment room, fully equipped gym, games room with billiards and arcade, and small office. A tasting room and wine and cheese cellar are stocked with tasty treats. The 6 bedrooms and their respective bathrooms are located on the first floor in a world of raw wood, mandalas and refined Asian décor. Two of them, including the master bedroom, open onto a balcony with a beautiful view of the mountain. The master bathroom features a rain shower and bathtub carved directly into the stone.

Booking conditions

Booking with Le Collectionist is both simple and bespoke. Choose a property from our collection, book online or speak to one of our advisors for more details. Once the property is selected and availability is confirmed with the owner, you confirm the booking and its terms.

A deposit secures your booking, then our concierge service takes over to arrange all necessary services and make your stay unique.

In order to confirm your booking, you will need to pay a deposit up to 3 business days after signing your contract.

You will then have until two months before the start of your rental period to pay the remaining balance.

Before your arrival, you will be asked to pay a deposit to cover any damage. The amount will be specified in your rental contract and can be requested from your advisor before booking. This deposit will be used to cover the cost of replacement or repairs, upon presentation of evidence provided by the owner. No amount will be withheld without a thorough inspection.

Check-in at the property is set at 5 pm and check-out at 10 am. Early check-in or late check-out may be possible depending on availability of the property and approval from the owners. These options are not automatically included and must be requested in advance from your advisor.

You may cancel your contract subject to the following fees:

  • Up to 60 days before your arrival: 50% of the total rental amount
  • Between 59 days and the check-in day: 100% of the total rental amount
