Chalet Auguste benefits from a unique location in the middle of the mountains, like something straight out of a painting by Paul Cézanne. Located right in the centre of the famous winter sports village of Méribel, it stands just 500 metres from the shops and ski pistes. The panoramic views out over pristine mountains and snow-capped summits to be had from the chalet inspire tranquillity and contemplation. Chalet Auguste benefits from a private terrace where you can relax and immerse yourself in your thoughts whilst observing the spectacle of a nature which, in itself, suffices, as Friedrich Hegel expressed it so well. This 500 m2 chalet, with its typically alpine architecture, is spread over four levels, each with its own precisely defined function. The leisure area, in the basement, presents a studied mixture of wood and old stone combined with furniture that blends perfectly with the refined decor. The vaulted lounge nearby, which is entirely given over to leisure and relaxation, adds a more intimate side to a stay at the chalet, with its broad, suspended arches. The ground floor living areas are magnificent: the chalet contains a huge, rustic lounge and a kitchen fitted with industrial style equipment, offering an elegant contrast to the more traditional overall spirit of the chalet. Chalet Auguste has eight bedroom suites distributed over three different levels, each equipped with a bathroom or a shower room. All the bedrooms display the same style of decoration, which is simultaneously both contemporary and traditionally authentic, thanks to the omnipresent mixture of wood and state-of-the-art fixtures and fittings.

Booking conditions

Booking with Le Collectionist is both simple and bespoke. Choose a property from our collection, book online or speak to one of our advisors for more details. Once the property is selected and availability is confirmed with the owner, you confirm the booking and its terms.

A deposit secures your booking, then our concierge service takes over to arrange all necessary services and make your stay unique.

In order to confirm your booking, you will need to pay a deposit up to 3 business days after signing your contract.

You will then have until two months before the start of your rental period to pay the remaining balance.

Before your arrival, you will be asked to pay a deposit to cover any damage. The amount will be specified in your rental contract and can be requested from your advisor before booking. This deposit will be used to cover the cost of replacement or repairs, upon presentation of evidence provided by the owner. No amount will be withheld without a thorough inspection.

Check-in at the property is set at 5 pm and check-out at 10 am. Early check-in or late check-out may be possible depending on availability of the property and approval from the owners. These options are not automatically included and must be requested in advance from your advisor.

You may cancel your contract subject to the following fees:

  • Up to 60 days before your arrival: 50% of the total rental amount
  • Between 59 days and the check-in day: 100% of the total rental amount
